Virovitica is situated 152km from the capital Zagreb, 120 km from Osijek, 65 km from Bjelovar and about 39 km from Đurđevac. Virovitica is located on the Podravina traffic corridor which is the most important transport route of the continental Croatia. The network of roads in the city of Virovitica make two state and several county and local roads. The most important traffic routes in the city are the state road D2 Varaždin – Osijek, and D5 road Okucani – Virovitica – Terezino Polje – Barcs.
