The City Park occupies a central place in Virovitica. It is the oldest part of the city, its narrowest center and the most representative part. As part of the Pejačević Castle renovation project, the appearance of the park has been restored in its original form, with new trees, shrubs and ornamental plants that have been planted. A promenade in the park has also been arranged, as well as a promenade in front of the nearby gymnasium “Petar Preradović” adorned with a new, modern fountain. There are wooden bridges in the park, each with designed according to its own story related to Virovitica (Bridge of Love, Bridge of Mirrors, Gymnasium Bridge, Portal Bridge, and as a special attraction the Music Bridge).
